My vise tying setup. I have felt glued to the bottom of both the thread post board and vise board. I keep some of my tools up front where I can have easy access to them. I drilled holes in a piece of oak spaced about 1 1/4 on center to hold 1/4" dowel pieces (for thread, floss, tinsel, wire, etc. spools). I glued a couple of those pieces of magnets that come with the small TMC trout hooks to the board. I also drilled a couple holes on the far side of the vise to hold cut sections of straws, conveniently large enough to hold two loaded bobbins or a couple of dubbing needles and bobbin threaders. Holes of about 1/8" are just big enough to hold hackle pliers.
Hey Daryle, hair stacker is correct! It's the best hair stacker I've found. The net got damaged somehow, and my Dad was going to toss it. I saved what could be salvaged. And the bonus is I can put really long (up to 5-6") bucktail in it and have not problems with any hair going everywhere as I stack it.
