    Bend the barb ....duh (JK), on the serious side I really like this fly, what do you call it? good colors and I like the pink lighlty mixed in with black sparse hairs (hackle)

    Thanks. I don't really call it anything. I was just messing around with patterns for fishing the beaches looking for SRC and Rezzies. But then I figured i'd save this for summer steelhead and\or fall coho.


    Body is a hand mixed bundle of angel hair type tinsel dubbed over a few wraps of lead. Then forward wrapped with green v-rib (or similar), and a long black hackle (forget the type - probably the kind used mainly on woolly buggers) with the top clipped.


    Oh, and when I tried to pinch off the dubbing at the last wrap, it stretched and broke off just right, so I left it long to flow under the hackle.
