I used a aftershaft feather from a ringneck rump patch in olive, I have also heard this particular feather called a filoplume, anyway I used the aftershaft feather and chose the loger fibers from the bottom and tied them to the hook like I would marabou. The body is olive killer caddis beads, glass beads. The collar is again the aftershaft feather wrapped a few times and pull back to look like legs, for movement. The eyes are 30lb maxima ultragreen burned with a lighter. I use my barb crushers to do this. Hold the maxima with the barb crushers and burn each end to the size you want paying attention to the gap between the eyes so you can tie them to the hook and it looks good. Then I use olive antron dubbing to create a head and figure 8 through the eyes and keep going until I like the way it looks.
