    Nice work and you're using a great product! The first thing I thought of when I saw the photos was "I wonder if they know about or used CPES?" I'm restoring (re-building from the frames up) a 1948 Chris Craft, and every part is sealed with two coats CPES before installation with 3M 5200 caulk. Funny, I'm a wood boat nut but I've never owned a wood drift boat.

    That was our second restore of a wooden driftboat...we really tried to do our research on this one. That CPES is great stuff!!! After we removed all of the rotted wood we tested it on some of the soft rotten stuff that we had removed before we put it on the boat and by the time it cured that rotten wood was rock solid!!
