Thats a pig! I just got back tonight, the beav is chcolate milk below grasshopper, caught fish below pipe but it wasnt hot. The big hole is up around 4000 and brackish, shitty fishing. The madison is fishing well between varney and ennis, got a couple nice bows... It reached 70 degrees a couple times, and never got below 35 at night in ennis, I would hit the madison in that raft of yours, you should do the macatee to town marathon float, I bet it would be sweet! Nobody on the river, sweet! Lots of good lookin fish in the slick, but we didnt see any hogs like usual? I hooked one big fish on an olive over white bucktail on the first cast below pipe organ, and caught a couple fishing a black sculpin, but for some reason they never came onto the big bug. We caught a shit load of 8"-12" though, and a couple 16"s, but other than that is was a little slow. Poindexter is chocolate milk as well, so that section is a bust. I regret not checking out "that creek" that flows around bozeman, there are some grandes in there and I doubt it will be to muddy to fish, plus if it is a little murky than that helps you... Good luck on you trip, nice fish btw.
