    foam body touched up by a marker. I like how it turned out.

    That's sweet, chad. A nice blend of the old and the new. What's the foam? You marked it before you tied it on? What are you trying to imitate, small stone, October caddis? Can you provide instructions?

    it's just a thin cut strip of thin, high density foam padding I picked up a while back at a craft type store.


    After I wrapped it on, I liked how it showed the sections\segments, but used a marker to high-light them better. I left a thin section along the bottom un-marked so it stays a bright orage.


    Yes, I was going with Oct Caddis, but general stone fly attracter as well. Just tied up a a few more experimnetal patterns this weekend that I may post.


    recipe for this one is just tieing down the rubber for the front and rear using red thread, then forward wrapping the foam strip, tieing in the elk hair wing, hackle, marker to draw out 'ribbing', done.
