    Be the guide...
    Nice flies! Have you ever tried to use beads in the thorax area as well as the head (mainly in stones and skwalas)? The extra weight is awesome at times when you are fishing deep runs with faster water and the fish are hugging bottom. I use a bigger double bead fly then and smaller nymph for the dropper. Works great - especially in the spring.

    beads in the thorax is a good trick. I think Bob Lawless does that with some of his midges.
