Got the disco ball motor at Spencers Gifts, rest of the parts came from around the house.

How much time spent looking for the motor?

I embarked on a similar endeavor, and gave up after many dead-end roads on a slow rpm electric motor at a reasonable cost.

Made three phone calls to find a disco ball motor-First to a karaoke store, then to a music store then to a party store where the clerk said that Spenser's had them. This one turns at 6 1/2 revs per minute.

That's really nice and you can always attach the disco ball for parties. Smile
