Just playing around with Canon Photostich software. Not a bad first try if I say so myself.

yeah the panorama shots work out good with the canon software especially if you can control the shutter speed on your camera

Is this above the bridge near Swift Reservoir? If so, how far above or below the falls?
I really need to get back there one day.

The piece of water shown in the picture is about 6 or 7 miles above Swift. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it took one of the craziest bushwacks I've ever experienced (and anyone who knows me would say that I'm famous for my propensity to bushwhack) to get to this spot.

A funny story: me and my buddy (the one shown above) were nymphing the slots below that drop on river left and all of the sudden out of nowhere comes a kayaker right through our water. He just glides over our lines- doesn't say anything or even make eye contact. It just about scared the crap out of us when it happened.

I am familiar with the point just below the bridge. I stumbled into some amazing 'large' fish there during memorial day a couple of years ago. My buddy who had property there says the hike up to where you are is pretty amazing. Did the fishing match the scenery?

That is so funny Capt. Awesome! Luckily you did not hook one of these kayaker! That would be a good fight! : )

Where would the kayaker have put in?

The kayaker would've put in at either the Bridge 1 mi below Lower Falls or at Lower Falls campground.

By the way, the fishing was about as good as the scenery- 3 bull trout and 7 bows between my buddy and me in about 4 hours time on the water.
