Before work - perfect morning on the river. Over a dozen eagles, a light dusting of snow, no wind or rain, and a steelhead holding right where it was supposed to be and willing to bite my hand tied fly
Too funny - I was back yester for a quick few casts and I swear there is a seagull that knows me. I've seen it each time i've been there and now it seem to follow me around. I guess it has something to do with the fresh skeins of eggs, liver, etc I've been leaving behind. But i've picked up a habit of putting rocks in my pocket now after I land a fish and it's bleeding out on the bank\shallows. That way, when I'm wading again and my seagull friend get's impatient and moves in to peck at the eye balls, I have ammo to throw and not have to worry about wading back and chasing it off.
