    Beautiful dog, 100% Alaskan malamute? I have a husky malamute mix that looks similar but smaller and slightly less furry. Great fishing buddy and a constant source of entertainment, kind of like having a domesticated wolf or coyote.

    Jon, yep he's all Mal but at 170lbs and 34" at the withers he was breed a bit larger than the standard. Overall he's been very healthy, but at 11 he's at his end, which is about the norm for giant breeds. Still a pup between the ears.
