    Wow, what an awesome picture. Perhaps it crawled in there as a baby. Good luck on getting that out, else you'll have a curled up shriveled spider corpse in every shot.

    Ah well, makes for a good photo anyway. Nearest we can reckon is he must have crawled inside one of the tapes, and when I was reviewing footage, somehow crawled out of the tape into the camera body and made his way as far forward as he could towards the light he occasionally saw. I dunno. What you can't see very clearly in the photo, is that this spider is actually between two pieces of glass that protect the image stabilization unit, there's a piece of glass above him and below him, and he built a nest.
