Hey Andy! I have a question and think you mite be the man for the answer. Last July I was out in Big sky on a trout bender. Spent a fair amount of time in the park. I'm sure you remember all the record heat, it was hot as a mofo!!! I will be heading out that way for a few weeks in June, basically the whole month. I want to spend a good part of it on the Firehole. I have heard rumors that the heat had caused a huge fish kill last year and that fishing this year mite be compromised ? What have you heard of this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
yes, large fish kill this last year, there are a few still around, obvio8usly, but if I were coming all the way out to fish round here, I might spend a day on the FH, (its a novelty) but there are soooo many better places, maybe not as scenic, but definitely better fishing.
