    Thanks Richard. The fly is not my invention... I believe it came about out of necessity one evening some 12 or more years ago at Chopaka. The emergers they had with them were not working so they began to invent. Picture several old and desperate fly fishermen trying to create an emerger out of the materials they had with them. The hares ear was chosen for its versitility, and they had a bean bag chair in the trailer with them. One of them had a wife along and she donated her last pair of panty hose to the cause. The rest is history... this fly has been very good to me. I was lucky enough to fish with the right people and they shared it with me. Enjoy.
