Koi! Somehow that seems wrong. haha Maybe because all the koi i'm accustom to swim up to you like you're going to feed them. I'm sure there are exceptions though.
Silverfly- the Trion reels has served me well in the smaller models, though I tried one on my spey and for some reason, free spooling became an issue and a reason for lost fish. So I wouldn't recommend them for powerful, fast fish like steel, or especially albacore and chinook.
Yeah, I would try selling them, but it's catch and release only in these ponds. They put these guys, along with common carp, amur, and tilapia in there to keep the algae down. They're actually really spooky at times. Other times they'll take just about anything. There's bass too, and some of size. I have had some trouble with the freespooling thing on the trion, but in general I've really liked the reel. Good for the price.
