    I was kind of screwing around but I thought this might work. I got some ideas off of other patterns. what do you guys think?

    Yeah I tied up something very similar after watching a YouTube clip about a pattern called a "Lithuanian Bat" that really looked more like a pattern for Steel. The guy who was tying that pattern was also using a traditional jig hook, which I think would make this fly even more deadly. The other thing that this fly needs is a loop of heavy mono above the hook, because the tail will most definitely wrap once it gets wet. Cool tie though.

    That will work if its 5-7 inches long. Maroon is another good color for bass
