    My new flock of ducks and chickens. A decent variety to choose from. They are only 4 months old, so they'll change a bit more, but you can see they have some feathers worth messing with at the vise...

    They drop a lot of feathers as they molt. I find I can hardly walk through the yard without stopping to pick up a few to tie with. I have a jar at my station I stick them in. I'll throw up a few patterns I've used them in later.

    The swedish blue on the upper left is a male\drake and the redish rooster rips into it a few times a day to let him know who's in charge. So I have a few nice clumps of feathers from the tail end that I think will work for cdc.
