    Cool clear water in North Central Oregon



    These look like the same fish. Both bright hens, even the same fly. Same hole, 30 minutes apart, so could have been. This hole was hard to swing. Strong current sheared right off to back eddy, deep, so strong current wouldn't let the fly get down, then I'd be hung up in the slack water. I thought "this is exactly what my new jigs are made for!" Thanks Jerry, others for the help on jig construction.

    I guess they're different fish. From measuring from the reel size, this fish is two inches longer than the first fish.
