    Totally Tubular

After many years of tying with more "traditional" methods, I am finally learning how to tie tube flies and how to work with epoxy. Here are some early results...

Dudes - The material is a mix of some stuff I've never seen before called "Fibablend" and "Kinkyfibre". The only difference between the two is that the Fibablend has some flash added to it. One of my local fly shops had a bunch of it on clearance, so I bought a some, and now I am hooked. It is a lot like Slinkyfiber, but it is a bit finer, and it gives a great profile without the same bulk at the tie-in point. Also, the built-in flash of the Fibablend is pretty nice (look at the white parts of these flies up close to see what I am talking about). I hope they still have some when I go back.

A couple of these flies also have some Slinkyfiber mixed in because I had it in more colors...
