This pattern is my Winter Solstice. The wing is, from bottom to top, blue squirrel tail (for some stiffness), blue maribou, purple maribou, and, after the blue guinea hackle, black maribou.
Ron, sorry for the slight delay (?!) in noticing your question. The body is a short butt of chartreuse dubbing or yarn, then spiky black dubbing. No rib; the flash comes from the fine purple tinsel (different brand names) tied in on the side.
