    Shad fishing, john day

    Shad fishing, john day

This is just a test to see if memeber can indeed upload movies. I aplogize for the ill fitting music and bad qaulity, it was the only thing i could fine that was this short. This one acaully has to do with fish. This is an old clip of shad fishing on the columbia. I did this one a mac so it will be sweet if it acaully works.

lol, it was done on imovie. Pretty lame deal, it could be alot better. Its an old movie and the shortest one i had. I now have "borrowed" final cut, so my movies should be a little better. Digi cam, cannon gl1. It looks so bad because i wanted to make it a very small file so it wouldnt use up all my space. a full qauilty dv movie of 4 min takes up a gig of space. In the future i will try to post higher quality casting movies of whatever u guys would like to see. Im no expert, but have taught quite a few people basic double haul and some limited distance casting. Its nice to see a cast in motion, helps alot with learning it.

... It took too long to view it by "click and wait", instead I right clicked and "target as..." and downloaded into my computer to watch. It only took seconds to watch this way. I don't know why...

mike, when i tried to play the movie it went behind the main internet window. Try minmizing the main internet window and seeing if the movie is there. Also try peters method.

Awsome, I want to try and fish for them next year, look like scrappy fish. The flip at the end was pretty funny. Cool

I hope that this is not way you release all of your fish. Not trying to put you down at all, just pointing out the danger of lifting a fish up so high.

Tom, i was going to give the fish to a buddy next to me for stegoen fishing, but it got loose and there was no way i was gonna grab it. I dont take trout or steelhead or any fish for that matter out of the water unless i intend to keep it or its a hatchery fish and i want my fly back if i cant control the fish in the water (flip them upsidedown and thier yours). There are 4 million shad the come up the columbia every year, i think they can spare one. But fyi, this is not how i realease most fish.
