    Latest version of my ultimate crayfish pattern. I tried it on a jig hook this time to get a better "hook point up" position. This is my go to fly for spring bass.

    What size and what color? I'm having success with 3.5 " green over orange for largemouth on the westside. For trout I'm thinking more like 2.5" brown over cream

    Mine are usually about 3" for bass and 1.5 or 2" for trout. And Brown over orange will always be a killer. Cream with a hint of brown\orange is another slayer...
