The Wind River range of the Bridger Tetons has unbelievable fishing for golden trout, Snake River cutthroat, rainbows, and brook trout. This creek, for instance, has fish everywhere you look; many more fish than you think a creek this size should hold, and that's because the creeks connect dozens of ponds, and the fish move between especially before, during, and after the spawn. Most of the fish we caught were in the 14"-16" range, but many pushed 20 inches. The fishing is oftentimes so easy, that it becomes a little boring. but mostly we were just fishing to supplement our meals. The real goal was getting on top of mountains, which we accomplished up to 12, 000+ feet. These are perhaps my favorite mountains in all of the Rockies!
