Truely one of the highlights in my fishing 'career'. This gorgeous golden was about 15 1/2". It was one of two caught last August in a North Cascades lake around 7000'. The other one was about 1" longer but the photo wasn't as nice! Photo by A. Kerr.
nice fish Jackchinook! was there a point when you came to the delimma of- i know i gotta put him back soon but i just dont want to let go! he's a GOLDEN MAN< A FREAGIN GOLDEN! kidding, i know i would of tho. sweet pic too.
Unbeleivable. If I had to make a list of fly fishing acomplishments, Catching that fish would definetly go right on top. Not only is it a remarkabley rare fish to catch, it is absolutely beautiful, and for a golden it is a HOG! You ROCK! You probably want to keep that location a secret right?
