    North Cascades Golden Trout

Truely one of the highlights in my fishing 'career'. This gorgeous golden was about 15 1/2". It was one of two caught last August in a North Cascades lake around 7000'. The other one was about 1" longer but the photo wasn't as nice! Photo by A. Kerr.

Oh my god. I am not a relegous man, but that may change things. It has been my dream to catch a goldern, but being from the dry side, i better head west.

Zen, instead head south to California where they are native and fish all the excellent rivers in Oregon and N. California along the way!

Unbeleivable. If I had to make a list of fly fishing acomplishments, Catching that fish would definetly go right on top. Not only is it a remarkabley rare fish to catch, it is absolutely beautiful, and for a golden it is a HOG! You ROCK! You probably want to keep that location a secret right?
