Beautiful fish, regardless of how it was caught.

When you look at the picture of Thad holding the fish, you have to look behind his hand to get a feeling for how long she is. I'm thinking the fish was 15 pounds or more. I saw a picture of a buck on this site where the guy it weighed 14.3 pounds after he cleaned it. This is as long as that fish and was full of eggs so it has to be 15 or more.

We were pulling bait divers like I do a fair amount of in the winter. But the cool thing was we were fishing in his new Clackercraft and this was the first steel he caught from the boat. What a nice way to christen a boat. But now he thinks I'm plug pulling stud. I'd like to believe him but we were just lucky. He didn't have a net in the boat so his cousin had to jump out in waist deep water and tail it. It was a minor miracle we landed it.
