    Do you wrap the super floss around the shank at the same time that you wrap the wire?

    No wire. I tie the super floss in at the tail then wrap the thread forward to the eye. Next I just wrap the super floss around the hook create the look of segmentation. Than I simply tie it off and snip either end to a desired length. This is a simple yet very effective fly.

    Turtles or universes? I can't decide....
    This is really a great fly. Basically, I'm just a fly fishing hack, but this fly has transformed me into a lake expert. Thanks Ira!!
