    Is that copper wire! I am haunted by those damn things! Every once and a while I'll see a shadow on the wall from one those monsters...I either have to be quick and deadly or pray my wife didn't see the lurker!

    Andrew, the body is folded deer hair covered with white thread and colored, the legs are mono also colored. The body has a thin coat of Sof-Tex.

    That does look like a wolf spider. nice work.


    Have you fished that pattern much? it would be cool to see a fish gobble that up.

    Yes RedSpey these float :-)
    But I wrap the deerhair very lightly to start
    so I don't crush the deerhair. Don't know if that
    helps, but it's all I can think of... :-)
