Paul, sweet carp. I must say one thing, not sure if u really care or if its even important. That is not a mirror carp, but i guess one could call it a bigscale carp. Mirror carp have far fewer scales (sometimes only 2 or 3, in random spots along the body, but mostly near the gillplate) than that fish pictured. Out of the 50 or so carp i got from the columbia, i never saw any mirror carp, and was told from a source that they are either very very rare or do not exisit in the columibia river system and most if not all of Washington. Do a search on Google to see what on of these mirror carp from europe look like. Pretty interesting stuff.
