Pat, really impressed with your skills at the vise. My favorites include the:  "mostly chartruse, Clouser-like creature", the "big-eyed baitfish with pronounced lateral scale", and the "stuck-in-the shuck" bugs.  I have a hard time imagining any self-respecting fish turning down any of these. Whe you have time, could you tell me if and when the first two I mentioned are effective for SRC or Coho? I live on the eastside of the state, but drove over to chase the SRC this past November in Hood Canal. What a thrill it was for me to actually hook some fish in the salt! Wish I had started a little earlier in the fall...but plan on much more in the future.

Those were exactly the names I had picked out for them. The mostly chartreuse closer like creature was intended as a MantIS shrimp imitation for my bbuddy to take bonefishing. But the baitfish was for salmon, I'm sure some cutt would eat them up but there are more effective patterns out there.my favorite src fly is the little epoxy chum fry. Thanks for the kind words
