    Popper caught dorado

Yes, this is an awful, sleep-deprived grip-n-grin with the bull dorado I caught on the popper. Apparently my mind was so numb from the incredible experience of catching it I apparently forgot how to hold a fish. I took a small fillet to grill up at the condo and let Trino take the rest. No pressure to not CnR I just wanted to try some fresh. Some butter and garlic was all it needed. It was so good I can never order mahi-mahi in a restaurant again.

Beautiful! I am a total C&R dork, but I absolutely understand why you did that, so delicious! Smile

Oh yeah they are good.   As I understand they are a pretty sustainable species so I can see keeping one per trip.  It would be good to keep them that way.  The main thing I want to take back next time are much better pics of the amazing colors when they are alive.
