    Kimball's Midge Emerger



    Bob tied two of these for each of us. The second is so small, I have nothing in my fly studio that will hold it. This is a size 20.

    Okay, Bob. When you threaded those flies on that tippet, did you use a magnifyer? Great looking flies.

    By the time I tied them, threading them was the easy part Wink


    Hook: 20-24 straight eye (used Targus 101, TMC 501)
    Tail: teal flank, long and splayed
    Body: none
    Wing case: white/gray poly yarn tied in with hump at rear of thorax
    Thorax: black, olive, or other superfine dubbing
