The wing post is snowshoe rabbit foot hair and hence the name Snowshoe Bunny Foot May Fly. White microfibret tails spread with a small ball of moose underbody fur, brown midge tubing body, natural hares mask dubbing wound behind and in front of wing post, four to five wrapps of grizzly hackle around wing post. Sounds simple, but these little guys take me too much time to get it exactly right. The rabbit foot hair seems to take a lot to sink. I've caught six to eight fish on one of these before having to retire it to dry. Get smashing strikes out of the fish in the little resivors behind town. Sometimes they will crash the fly and then return to pick it up after they have sunk it. Hard to be patient enough to let them do that after the huge boil and crash.
