    While driving between Yakima and Spokane each weekend to get my mother's house ready to sell, I've managed to stop along the way to revisit some locations that were formative to my childhood.

    I caught a half dozen little rainbows right at the bridge. It was like someone dropped some hatchery fish right off the bridge except the dorsal fins looked good. A half mile upstream though, I LDRed a 14 inch fish, species unknown, on a BWO dry.
