    Nice NIce NIce!! I love peacock bodied flies we have one lake over here in Eastern Washington that peacock bodies seem to be the hot ticket. I like the red butt and head too. Wayne how about a recipe? What did you use for the hackle?

    The hackle looks like hungarian partridge to me. good looking soft hackle.

    here's the recipe:

    Hook: TMC 200R #14
    Thread: red 6-0 Uni-thread
    Butt: Red Uni-thread spun flat
    Body: Peacock herl twisted with copper wire
    Hackle: Hungarian Partridge
    Head: Red Uni-thread

    This was a real easy fly to tie and quick. I took one up to Rocky Ford a couple weeks ago and had a fish on the second cast. He hit it as it layed there near the surface. Unfortunately, I broke the hook in his mouth at the bend.

    This fly had my favorite ingredients - peacock, copper wire, soft hackle and red.
