    This is one of my favorites. An old pattern.


    Tail: small red golden pheasant feather
    Body: 2 parts olive/1 brown dubbing, mohair or yarn
    Rib: flat silver tinsel, fine silver and fine gold
    Hackle: blue eared pheasant
    Throat: red golden pheasant feather
    Wing: tented mallard

    Great work! Will it get wet? I remember 3-4 barbules from the Golden Pheasant flank-rump for the tail. Wing-Shell from Mallard Flank strip? This is an excellent Steelhead fly on Salmon River in Idaho! Had ribbing ripped off and the Lady C fly spit back at me!
