    Another oldie.

    Dressing is as follows:

    Body: Rear half, yellow floss, front half black dubbing
    Rib: Silver flat, and twist
    Hackle: Grey Heron
    Throat: Guinea
    Wing: Mallard

    That's a beautifully tied spey; well done. I just had to comment on the fly. I've been trying to tie a few in this sort of style myself, but I just love the proportions yours came out with.

    The same pattern, Grey Ghost, is simply the finest landlocked atlantic salmon fly ever. If you are ever in Plattsburgh NY, from Sept. to may, this is one of the ones. I wish I was a better tyer in college.

    Excellent! Will it get wet? If so it needs 2 wraps of oval tinsel as tag to hold yellow silk.

    Hey man I stumbled onto some of your patterns and really enjoy them. Every time I try and turn into a minimalist and concede to cheap and effective flies; this shit pops up. lol. Really nice, fishy patterns.
