    Feather River, Mini-Steel

Feather River, California Half Pounder Steelhead on the six weight. This is about the average size fish on that river. It took a Baetis pupae. (12/04)

Cool, I'll be down there next week and I'm bringing my gear. I was thinking about hitting the feather, how does it fish in Dec. Other options include upper Sac. , Putah creek-grew up fishing here, or the American for steelhead either way I'd like to get out at least once.
