    Piggy to end all piggys

Sight fishing, 29.5" small water sight fishing in September. Alaska. Caught 5 like this in an hour out of one hole. No need to fly out to catch fish like this - just need to know what you're doing (when, where, how).

It's not just the impressive length but the girth on this thing. I'm a big guy (6'4) and this one goes half way up my damn forearm! Note that it's dorsal fin didn't even make it into the picture! I was by myself, so getting a good picture was tough! Very nice colors and dark markings, too!

That's one big fish! And one hacked up mouth. From old age or multiple c&r's?

Possibly a combination of both (C&R over years). This creek doesn't get a ton of pressure and this was the only fish in the stretch with any sort of disfigurement.

    Herpes...So I've herd.

If herpes - didn't get it from me! I may love fish, but simply in a platonic sense! Will actually be putting a trip together back to this same water next Sept and may put the offer out on the board as well. Cheap trip and great fishing.

Soooooweeee! Oink, Oink, Oink! That is one nice pig! I'm thinking the only reason that you didn't get a full fish shot was because you didn't have a wide angle to fit the fish in the pic - grin!
