    Pretty much, from what I gather this means they were in fresh recently, probably looking for spawning Salmon eggs and bits.  He took a pattern with a Chenille "egg" built in so that might be very possible, but these guys are pretty agressive and would probably hit nearly anything that moves. I really love the coloration of these guys!

    Fantastic, thanks for the information.  It does look like a salty with an airbrush of golden-yellow.

    I am guessing it had the lemon-colored fins?  Seems that older resident freshwater-only fish that attain this golden color often have reddish fins.


    Again, thanks for posting, one of the prettiest coastal cutts I have seen for sure!! : )
