    • Alexander's Country Inn & Restaurant (Mt. Rainier)
Located one mile from Mt. Rainier National Park, historic Alexander's Country Inn has its own glacier-fed trout pond. Complete with cascading waterfall, resident deer and surrounding mountain peaks. Overnight guests are welcome to spend a quiet afternoon---or an entire day--- fly-fishing along the banks of Trout Pond. Typically, fishermen and women catch and release----but many enjoy taking a couple of trout to the restaurant kitchen where they are pan-fried and served for dinner. Alexander's welcomes inquiries from instructors and tour guides regarding fly-fishing classes, seminars, and retreats.

    • Grandma's Lake
The lake produces healthy, hard fighting brown trout and Kamloop rainbow trout, plus in 2005 you may tie into the occasional brookie or tiger trout. The trout bulge up on damsels, callibaetis, chironimid, dragon fly, and sedge nymphs, as well as water boatman and shiners (the lakes baitfish). Good sedge and callibaetis dry fly hatches occur, but the highlight of the dry fly action is July and August's damsel and hopper fishing. The average fish caught in the lake is 14 to 16 inches long, but 20+ inchers are common in a day. In each of our seasons 28 and 30 inch rainbows have been caught by clients.
