The legs on your fly are correct. this one had the "legs" mistakenly cut off. I'm sending one to him to rephotograph for the gallery. This is a weighted fly that sinks at a rate of 1-3IPS.
It is designed to hang upright on a Duncan loop knot.
The ingredients are as follows:
Mustad C49S scud hook
Red 8/0 thread
.020 lead wire
Medium Clear Liquid Lace injected with baby oil
5 frongs of a Grouse tail feather for the legs.
Black Strech-flex for the wing case
4 wraps peacock herl for the thorax
white antron for the gills

I'll post detailed tying instructions as soon as the new photo is posted.

BTW, This photo doesn't do this fly justice. You need to hold it up to direct sunlight and turn it to catch all of the colors that are contained under the Liquid Lace and the transluncency of this product.
