I just got about a quarter of a pronghorn hide from a hunter buddy and have it curing in the garage.

I've read that it's brittle and so maybe doesn't work so well but the white looks awesome...like it'll take dyes well.

Hi, I was wondering if natural yak hair is used for tying flies. I thought I had seen it referenced a few times as a tying material for saltwater flies. If so, anybody know the supply vs. demand for this material? Thanks!
