Another gadget to catch a fisherman. This is not new. Ceviche had something like that. He pulled it around a few lakes when I fished with him. That was a few years ago.

Hummingbird have a similar depth /fish finder out some years ago, never really caught on. I had one it soon became a pain replace ing the battery & it didn't take long before you were taking a swim to retrieve the lost transducer

This is the one I was thinking about in my earlier post. Me and naming things don't do so good anymore.

Yeah, I was out yesterday morning early AM. Gorgeous morning, nice sunrise, and I see a guy across the river just standing in his run. As I two-step down my side I finally see he has been talking on a cell phone the entire time. My thought on this and the OP was that in the end most will have wished they had left the electronics home and enjoyed the fishing.

I only carry a cell phone is case I fall down and break my neck. Where I fish there ain't no reception. But you can usually get 911.
Had to laugh when I read this. Top end of the Rogue and this huge parking lot at 'Casey.' There's a 10 foot circle where you can get/send on a cell phone. Similar situation in the fly only section of the North Umpqua.
