He he he ... Bacon was on sale last week. Figured it was a good time for a bacon bomb!
For those not familiar with the bacon bomb:
Start 1/2 your grill on medium heat
Lay ground pork out thin and flat in a rectangle
Sprinkle with your favorite pork seasoning
Roll up into a log and set aside
Then weave bacon slices into a mat about the same size rectangle as the pork was
Lay the ground pork log on the bacon mat
Roll up the log into the bacon mat
Place log onto the non-flame side of the grill
Cook with the indirect heat for an hour or so until the bacon gets good & crispy and forms a nice crunchy bark.
Here's todays after about 45 minutes with my grill at about 380-400.
Going to let it keep cooking. More pictures will follow.
