Would love to get to Silver Creek someday for the brown drakes. The river in town used to have a decent hatch and some surprisingly nice fish would come up but that was over 30 years ago; nowadays there’s a few bugs but not many fish to speak of.

hook - WFC Model 4 #10
thread - Uni 6/0 brown
tail - moose body
rib - tying thread
body - deer hair
hackle - grizzly
wing - partridge

Regards,
Scott

For me, it's mostly streamers lately...

kinda like this generic...

along the same lines...

a little larger...for some reason, I never really fish white. That'll change this next year.

I've become a firm believer in multi-colored flies along with mottled materials. I feel it gives that illusion of extra movement.
Guys i recently discovwred an oldy but goodie with a new twist. Try this
String body.... kite flying string, tungsten bead and a gray squirrel tail wing. Hook of your choice. It catches cold water and warm water species. Six minutes and small cjange and you have a killer streamer

Much more enjoyable than tying a bunch of Zebras, Ray Charles and Amex scuds.

hook - Dai Riki 300 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 rusty dun
rib - small wire silver
body - Ice Dub hare’s ear body
hackle - grizzly (undersize by 1)
shoulder - sharptail grouse
head/collar - deer hair

Regards,
Scott
That fly will push a lot of water and attract fish in the evening.
