A few minor changes to the original, none of them major.

thread - Danville 6/0 light olive
tail - pheasant tail
rib - small wire gold
body - Swiss straw white
body hackle - badger
1st shoulder - chukar dyed neon olive
2nd shoulder - pheasant rump dyed neon olive

Borrowed some parts from the Arrow Mayfly and spun a head on it.

hook - WFC Model 6 #8
thread - Uni 6/0 light olive
tail - pheasant rump dyed neon olive (2 Tsp Rit Lemon Yellow, 1/4 Tsp Rit Neon Green/2 cups water)
rib - small wire gold
body - Swiss straw white
body hackle - badger
shoulder - pheasant rump dyed neon olive
head/collar - deer hair dyed neon olive

Used this version or George Barron’s fly, swapping out the dyed grizzly collar for partridge.

butt - dubbing red
rib - small wire silver
body - dubbing claret
body hackle - black/claret (1 Tbs Rit Claret/1 cup water)
collar - partridge dyed Silver Doctor Blue (2 packs Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)

Eyes - Painted lead dumbbell
Tail - Ultra chenille
Body - Peacock herl reinforced with tying thread and wrapped over a crazy glue coated hook shank
Hackle - Pheasant rump feather

John Bartlett from Oregon created the Hybrid, a cross between a worm and soft hackled wet fly
