hook - WFC Model 6 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 fire orange
tail - deer hair dyed golden olive (4 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/2 Tsp Rit Camel/1 cup water)
rib - xsmall wire gold
body - dubbing dyed sunburst (1 Tbs Rit Golden Yellow/1 cup water)
body hackle - dyed golden olive
wing - deer hair dyed golden olive
thorax - dubbing neon orange (70% Rit Golden Yellow, 30% Rit Sunshine Orange/2 cups water)
front hackle - dyed golden olive

A few minor changes to the original.

hook - WFC Model 6 #10
thread - Danville 6/0 wine
tail - pheasant tail
rib - small wire copper
body - dubbing fiery brown
body hackle - dyed copper olive (4 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/2 Tsp Rit Camel/1 cup water)
1st shoulder - pheasant body feather dyed brown
2nd shoulder - chukar dyed orange (1 Tbs Rit Sunshine Orange/2 cups water)

Clouser using “just add h2o” synthetic pink and olive. With added Krystal and pink flash

Hoping western Washington coho might chase it in the river.

A very novice fly tier here. Would love recommendations/feedback if anybody feels inclined!

I think that clouser looks great! You might try tying it sparser (less material top and bottom), especially if that stuff keeps it's bulk when we.

I have a tendency to tie patterns differently and use different materials, enjoying the creative part of tying rather than tying to original specs. A few chironomids tied differently…….

Wow! Are you lightly brushing epoxy down the body to where it only sticks to the rib to get that segmented effect? Or, how do you do that? That’s a cool look I have not seen before. Nice, thanks for sharing.
