That is one pretty reel. That would look pretty good on my 9140 & 9150 spey rods, however the rods are not that pretty green. The fly looks nice as well.

Joe saracione makes a really nice reel and I have to give him kudos for making this reel in green. He also made a solid face reel in the same color and size a while back for me, check out his Facebook page for better pictures of this reel.

Clan Goat Muddler







Found a real nice version here; swapped out the tinsel rib for wire to increase durability.

hook – WFC Model 6 #6
thread - Danville 6/0 black/Flymaster Plus black
tail - yarn flame/over golden pheasant crest
rib - small wire silver
body - dubbing black
body hackle - red/black
1st shoulder hackle - guinea dyed red
2nd shoulder - chukar dyed Silver Doctor Blue (2 packs Koolaid Ice Blue Raspberry/1 cup water)
head - deer hair dyed black

Thread: Uni Rust Brown 6/0
Weight: Ten turns .015” lead-free wire
Tail: Grizzly chickabou or hackle fluff dyed Burnt Orange, ½ body length
Rib: Red UTC Ultra Wire, Small
Body: New Age Halloween chenille #7, size 0
Hackle: Burnt Orange dyed grizzly. Tie in at head, spiral to rear with dull side facing
forward, then reverse rib

Tail: Natural elk hair, flashabou fibers over top
Body: Pearl flashabou
Underwing: Mottled fly sheet (keeps wing hairs from migrating over body)
