Aren't Dogs the best!

Gunther and I on home farm, October 28 2016

Gunther joined our lives when family member (who raised him from pup) had to move in order to retain same job. He's been a SUPER easy keeper and great joy to have around. We often joke about what it might cost to 'insure' him if required.. He's 50% Chow Chow and 50% Pitbull. Have never seen him show aggression to any other person or Dog.. He's no pushover either and extremely confident. Outstanding condition yet for a dog of 14+ years. After seeing this pic my friend John quipped "Your Dog looks like he owns the woods." It is an accurate assessment.

Most of us dog folks have lost one somewhere along the way. My wife and I still dearly miss our first dog, Sage, and she passed on three years ago.
