Hello all, I have a 1976 eagle claw 4 piece 7.5' 7wt fiberglass rod. it is the limited edition centennial edition (colorado turned 100 yrs old) Even has all the inscription hand written, denver colo.

Anybody have any info about it? Damn beautiful rod.

Also this is "line size 7", but it's a fiberglass rod from 1976, how sensitive do you guys think this rod likely is? Compared to a modern graphite "line size 7".

Do you think I could fish for pink salmon with this rod? Or should I keep to bass (1-3lb) an whatnot you think?

Do you guys think using this rod to fish for bass in a river where I might catch a pike as well is a bad idea?

I guess...anybody who knows a bit about fiberglass rods...how far can i push this rod? Should i trust it? How easily might it break?

The rod has been barely used at all. The warranty card was even still in the rod tube, haha!

Lemme know. I'll see if i can put some pictures up
